Our Story

Jim Stonley & Zafar Khokhar are the proud owners of Corktown Esso. It was a long and protracted battle with the city to reestablish the outlet after its dismantling. Both Jim & Zafar have worked at that site, Jim over 20 years & Zafar over 15, they are also very close friends. They provide this unique site with and extensive amount of memorabilia of the service station business over the years. They know many of their customers by their first names having become an institution at that site. Toronto film crews know them well as their supplier of fuel using a credit card program which suits them well. They are very much a part of the community in the downtown Toronto area along with many of their long-term employees.
